Northern Ghana

Growing food, growing futures.

Our Agriculture programmes help smallholder farmers boost yields, income and resilience against a changing climate.

Every child deserves to learn.

Through Education we open doors for children and youth — keeping them in school and ready for the future.

Healthier families, stronger communities.

Our Health initiatives bring care, awareness and dignity to women, children and families who need it most.

Success Story

Building Stronger Communities

HOLIDO, in partnership with UNDP under the UN Peacebuilding Fund, supported 15 women and youth artisans in 9 rural communities across 3 districts of the North-East Region with equipment, refresher trainings and mentorship.

The trainings equipped beneficiaries with business and financial management skills that help them generate income, improve their wellbeing, and actively participate in conflict prevention efforts — building stronger, more resilient communities.

“With the machines I received from HOLIDO, I now own a shop and have 2 apprentices. I can now speak and contribute in public.” — Madam Annatu, Wenchiki
